Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Full Time Days

| Position Summary:
Performs specialized cardiovascular procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, including but not limited to: records hemodynamic pressures and computerized data, operates special X-Ray equipment, burns c.d.�s, assists the invasive/interventional cardiologist and Vascular Surgeon with procedures using sterile technique and has knowledge of cardiac medications. Qualifications: POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (including required licenses/certifications, education and job knowledge/experience):
EDUCATION:
Minimum:
Graduate of accredited program in Radiology Technology, or Equivalent or
Graduate of accredited Cardiovascular Invasive program or equivalent (CCI)
EXPERIENCE:
One year Interventional Lab experience required;
One year experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, preferred.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:
Radiologic Technology Registration/Licensure as required (ARRT)
Florida License CRT
RCIS within 12 months of hire required.
ACLS Certification
BLS Certification
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Field of expertise: Cardiac Catheterization, American Heart Association BLS/ACLS Certification, Interventional Cardiac Catheterization and or EP experience is preferred.
Effective oral and written communication skills in the English language.
Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
