The Program Coordinator: Ensures the Social Workers and Nurses whom they supervise are aware of, adhere to all current directives of VHA, The Joint Commission (TJC), Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), State licensure standards, and VA-Office of Inspector General (OIG) expectations. Conducts ongoing performance reviews and appraisals to ensure the accomplishment of objectives and adherence to standards set by the governing body. Provides administrative, technical, and clinical supervision necessary for accomplishing the work of their program. This includes planning, organizing, implementing, directing, and evaluating a comprehensive range of Behavioral Health Services at the Amarillo Texas Veterans Health Care System.
